1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website, portal, and services of Katha Story Labs Private Limited (“Katha Labs”), located at https://kathalabs.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not access or use our services.
2. Intellectual Property Ownership Guarantee
All manuscripts, literary drafts, ideas, outlines, book chapters, and proprietary concepts authored, submitted, or produced by you remain your sole and exclusive intellectual property. Katha Labs acts solely as an IP and legacy studio, facilitating writing, structuring, editing, and publishing. We do not claim any copyright ownership in your original works.
3. Third-Party Integrations & Google Services
Our services integrate with Google APIs (Google Drive and Google Docs) to allow users to sync, edit, and retain manuscripts in their personal cloud storage. Your use of Google integrations is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You may revoke access at any time through your Google Security settings.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the services to generate, store, or distribute any unlawful, defamatory, abusive, infringing, or malicious content. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Limitation of Liability
Katha Labs provides its software platforms on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for 100% uptime and seamless synchronization with third-party cloud providers, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party service interruptions.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
